Introduction Published by the Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF), the study on Jordan’s Product Space is built on the theory of Economic Complexity, the availability of production knowledge within society as a tool to achieve both economic growth and prosperity for a country. This study uses the concept “level of sophistication” to measure the contribution of every product to a country’s economic complexity. It is of great importance to focus on products with high levels of sophistication (and products with a level of sophistication higher than the average sophistication of Jordan’s export basket) in order to increase Jordan’s economic complexity, which will in turn raise GDP and prosperity for Jordanians. JSF has studied all of the currently exported products from Jordan that intersect with products included in The Relaxing Rules of Origin’s deal with the European Union. The study indicates that there are 282 products from within 14 industrial sectors that Jordan exports from that are included in The Relaxing Rules of Origin’s deal with the European Union. Additionally, what makes these findings unique is that they exceed the average level of sophistication (9610) of Jordan’s export basket. Based on findings, Jordan Strategy Forum recommends that industries focus on exporting these products to Europe, as they will contribute to the increase in economic growth and higher prosperity for Jordan.
