Interactive Session with the Faculty of Business School Students at Al-Balqa Applied University
08-05-2025
As part of its ongoing commitment to engaging with youth and fostering greater economic awareness among future leaders, the Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF) hosted a group of students from the Faculty of Business at Al-Balqa Applied University in an interactive discussion session.
During the session, students were introduced to JSF’s mission, strategic focus areas, and a selection of its key studies and publications. They also learned about the Forum’s communication and advocacy efforts, which aim to support evidence-based policy dialogue in Jordan.
The discussion covered a range of youth-relevant topics, including education, the labor market, artificial intelligence, the role of the private sector in the national economy, and the current economic challenges facing Jordan. Participants also engaged in an in-depth review of key economic indicators, the Economic Modernization Vision, and the broader development framework—helping students better understand the structure of Jordan’s economic landscape and the opportunities it presents.
As part of the session, JSF presented its newly launched Interactive Economic Indicators Dashboard—a powerful and accessible knowledge tool designed to support students, researchers, and policy professionals. The dashboard offers updated, reliable data that enables users to conduct in-depth research and economic analysis. Students were guided through how to navigate and use the tool effectively within their academic work.
This session is one of several initiatives through which JSF aims to build stronger bridges between youth and the policy world, empowering them with the knowledge and tools needed to actively contribute to Jordan’s development.
