12-10-2020Jordan Strategy Forum, in collaboration with UNICEF, has launched a policy paper on ‘Jordan’s National Social Protection Response during COVID-19’ to map the social protection sector responses in Jordan during the first six months of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study sheds lights on challenges faced, as well as lessons learned and recommendations to continue reaching vulnerable groups most impacted by the crisis and enhance the sector response to the different pillars of the national system - including social assistance, social services, and social protection.

14-07-2020Amman, July 14, 2020 — The World Bank launched today its Jordan Economic Monitor (JEM) Spring 2020 edition “Weathering the Storm” in a virtual meeting hosted by the Jordan Strategy Forum and in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. The JEM discusses the recent economic developments and highlights some of the key macroeconomic policy challenges facing the Kingdom, mainly as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that has severely affected the lives and livelihoods of Jordanian citizens.
